Welcome, Witches!

It’s so lovely to have you here in my wonderful world of witchcraft, poetry and tarot.

Grab a brew and get comfy, because it’s about to get beautifully weird!

Who am I?

I am a poet and occultist, with many years experience in both. I am also an amateur historian, particularly interested in the history of witchcraft and magic in the British Isles. I live in the grim North of England, in a moorland steeped in literature and folklore. I live with my husband, and spend my days drinking copious amounts of tea and running my occult book shop, Crooked Books.

I am a mixed-race, disabled witch and I am currently working on my debut poetry collection Rooted: A Mixed-race witch’s Quest for Belonging’ which will be out later this year! I am passionate about diversity and inclusivity in literature and heritage, and strive to promote this where I can.

I have been reading tarot for almost a decade- you could say it’s my second language! I delight in guiding people through life with the use of such an ancient tool, coupling my deep knowledge of the cards with my keenly developed intuition.
